Back in the day progressive house had been the music of choice – a chance purchase of the first Y3K album however, opened his eyes to nuskoolbreaks and he''s been a convert ever since.
Nowadays however, Lucas draws inspiration from many genres of dance music, including psy-trance, techno and electro. This is reflected both in his production and his varied dj sets across Brighton.
Resident dj and key contributor to the famed Brighton mong-fest Slackers Convention, LuQas organises their weekly radio show on NSB radio (every Saturday 7-9pm) and notorious sordid after parties at various underground venues.
Before joining the Slack crew, LuQas promoted the nights Kinky Robot and Checkout alongside a few other similar minded reprobates.
